With a 15 year history in the investment world, Kartikeya Katir continues to be responsible for research, analysis, back office, social media and programming. After studying business and communications, he graduated from the Harvard CS50 certificate program and is studying for the RIA exam. He enjoys horticulture, woodworking, rock climbing and sustainability.
Vikram Rao completed his masters in the UC Davis computer science program and has gone on to develop his own proprietary software in multiple fields. He is currently developing financial software to aid in wealth management.
Mr. Chi was appointed as the co-chief executive officer and co-president of Goldman Sachs BDC in March 2022. Mr. Chi is Americas co-head of Private Credit within Goldman Sachs Asset Management. Mr. Chi is a member of the Asset Management Private Credit Investment Committee and Specialty Lending Group Investment Committee. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs Asset Management, Mr. Chi worked in the Financial and Strategic Investors Group within the Investment Banking Division from 2006 to 2019, where he managed the firm’s relationships with private equity and related portfolio company clients. From 2000 to 2006, Mr. Chi was in Leveraged Finance, where he originated and executed leveraged loan and high yield financings for sponsor and corporate clients across all industries. From 1997 to 2000, he was based in Hong Kong, working on mergers & acquisitions, debt and equity financings, privatization and restructuring assignments for clients across Asia Pacific. Mr. Chi joined Goldman Sachs in 1994 as an analyst and spent his first three years at the firm across the Information Technology, Fixed Income Capital Markets and Leveraged Finance groups. Mr. Chi serves on the Board of Directors for the JED Foundation and the Korean American Community Foundation.
Rick Matros has served as Sabra’s President and Chief Executive Officer and as a Director since May 2010, and he has served as Chair of the Board since November 2010. He was Chair of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of Sun Healthcare Group, Inc. from 2001 until Sabra’s inception in November 2010. Mr. Matros founded and served as Chief Executive Officer and President of Bright Now! Dental from 1998 to 2000 and as a Director from 1998 until its sale in December 2010. From 1998 until the sale of its operations in 2006, Mr. Matros was also a member of, and served on the Management Committee of, CareMeridian, LLC, a healthcare company that specialized in offering subacute and skilled nursing for patients suffering from traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury and other catastrophic injuries. Previously, from 1994 to 1997, he served Regency Health Services, Inc., a publicly held long-term care operator, holding the positions of Chief Executive Officer, President, Director and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to that time, from 1988 to 1994, he served Care Enterprises, Inc., holding the positions of Chief Executive Officer, President, Chief Operating Officer, Director and Executive Vice President—Operations. Mr. Matros currently serves on the non-profit Boards of IsraAID and Artists 4 Israel and is the Executive Producer of Sabra Films, LLC. In 2023, Mr. Matros won an Emmy in the Sports Documentary category for his role as co-executive producer of Legacy: The True Story of the LA Lakers.
Since 2013, Mr. Busch has served as President of Global Medical Real Estate Trust. Mr. Busch also has served as a Director of the Company since September 2014 and served as Chairman and President of the Company from August 2015 to the present. From October 2014 to the present, Mr. Busch has served as Director and Vice Chairman of American Housing REIT Inc. (f/k/a On Target 360), which is also externally managed by our advisor, and from October 2014 to the present has served as its Chairman. His experience includes developing numerous properties in various asset classes, owning and managing real estate in several states, including rental housing, and a wide variety of commercial real estate. Since 2001, Mr. Busch has also served as President of Safe Blood International Foundation, where he oversees the establishment of medical facilities in 35 developing nations, funded by the CDC and USAID, Exxon Mobil and the Gates Foundation. Mr. Busch has had presidential appointments in two presidential administrations, one in the Department of Housing and Urban Affairs and the other at the United Nations in Geneva, where he served as a United States delegate. Mr. Busch is a graduate of the New York University Stern School of Business, and holds a Master of Public Administration from New York University and a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Emory University.
Rajneesh Vig, Managing Director, is a member of Blackrock's Global Credit Platform and President and COO of BlackRock-TCP Capital Corp (NASDAQ: TCPC)
Prior to joining BlackRock, Mr. Vig was a Managing Partner at Tennenbaum Capital Partners (TCP), where he was also Chairman of the Investment Committee and a member of the Management Committee. TCP with its more than $9 billion in committed capital was acquired by BlackRock in 2018. Prior to TCP, Mr. Vig held roles within Investment Banking, Debt Capital Markets and the Structured Solutions Group at Deutsche Bank Securities from 1999 through 2006.
He currently chairs Blackrock Private Credit's Investment Committee, is a member of the Credit Oversight Committee and serves on the Board of Directors of TCPC and Edmentum. He also serves on the Los Angeles Board of the Posse Foundation.
Mr. Vig earned a B.A. in Economics from Connecticut College and an M.B.A from New York University.
